Ceres In Deal With Syngenta

Thousand Oaks-based energy crop and biotechnology firm Ceres announced this morning that it is in a deal with Syngenta, to extend a market development agreement the two have in Brazil. The agreement covers promoting the use of sweet sorghum and high biomass sorghum at Brazilian ethanol mills. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Ceres is a developer of seeds specifically aimed at the energy industry, and for production of renewable fuel and other related products.
