Chatter Set To Launch App For Celebrity Chats For Charity

Los Angeles-based mobile app startup Chatter said today that it is about to launch an app, which will let fans hold one-on-one, five minute chats with their favorite stars--and, at the same time, help raise money for charities. Chatter said its is officially launching its app on June 4th, and will offer up one-on-one chats with such celebrities as Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, Bryshere Gray, YouTube stars Arika Soto and Tyler Oakley, Snapchat star YesJulz, and Instagram models @Chantelzales and @SophiaMiacova. The app works by allowing fans to purchase $5 raffle tickets for the chance to have a one-on-one chat with their favorite celebrities, which raises money for a range of charities. The app runs on iOS and Android. Chatter was co-founded by Pasha King and Teague Egan. The company says it has raised seed funding from Innovation Factory.
