CheckAlt Partners With Data Processing Firm

Los Angeles-based check payment technology developer CheckAlt said Thursday that it has partnered with a data processing solution provider for credit unions, ESP. According to the company, the partnership allows ESP to offer its customers remote deposit capture (RDC) products. CheckAlt develops technology which both captures and processes paper checks, but also handles things like mobile payments, e-checks, and financial transfers. Financial details of the partnership were not announced. Check21 is led by Shai Stern.
