Chill Raises $8M More

Los Angeles-based Chill, the social video sharing and chat site led by Brian Norgard, has raised another $8M in funding, the firm said today. The firm sai the new funding was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and William Morris Endeavor. The firm says it now has over 18 million registered users, and that it will use the funding to accelerate development and distribution of its platform. Chill's website lets users share videos and discuss them with friends in an online social environment. Other investors in the round included Atlas Venture and Chris Sacca’s Lowercase Capital. The firm's other investors include Troy Carter, 500 Startups, Science Media, CrunchFund, Mike Jones and Redpoint Ventures. More information »
