    Chimeracore Raises Venture Funding


    Santa Barbara-based Chimeracore, a company that is developing therapeutics targeted at cancer based on synthetic materials, has received a round of venture funding, socalTECH has learned. The funding, which was not announced publicly, included an investment from DFJ Frontier, and closed April 18th. Chimeracore is headed by a team of Ph.Ds from UC Santa Barbara. The company did not return emails asking for comment on the deal.
