ChowNow Raises $3M For Mobile Food Orders

ChowNow, a startup which provides social, mobile, and web-based online ordering for restaurants, said this morning that it has raised $3M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by GRP Partners, and also included Double M Capital, Daher Capital, Karlin Ventures, and Velos Partners. The firm, which was founded by Christopher Webb and Eric Jaffe, develops software which lets restaurants take food orders from Facebook, mobile phones, and the web to receive and process orders. The startup said that it will use the funding to launch new products and expand national operations. More information »
