Cie Games In Asian Expansion

Long Beach-based Cie Games, the developer of the social Facebook game Car Town, said this morning that it has partnered with Japanese automotive information company PROTO CORPORATION. According to Cie Games, the deal with Nagoya-based PROTO will allow PROTO to publish its Car Town game across Asia. Terms of the strategic partnership were not disclosed. PROTO operates an online marketplace for vehicles in Asia. Cie Games said that PROTO will be creating a localized version of Car Town on Facebook for Asia, covering thirteen countries, including Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
