CinemaNow Adds BMG, Others To Site

CinemaNow, the Marina Del Rey-based video on demand site, said Tuesday afternoon that it has signed new licensing agreements with Sony BMG Music Entertainment, EMI, and Sanctuary Records. CinemaNow will offer music videos and concert performances from such artists as David Bowie, Coldplay, Morrissey, and Norah Jones through its WatchMusicHere.com web site and its main video download site. CinemaNow said that the videos will be available on a download-to-own basis for $1.99, with live performances and long-form videos at between $9.95 to $14.95, and rental at $2.99 to $3.99. The new content will be available on the firm's site in late August.
