CinemaNow Launches Music Video On Demand For Windows

Marina Del Rey-based CinemaNow said this morning that it will start offering music videos for download for Windows and mobile devices. In an agreement with Warner Music Group and TVT Records, the video on demand company will sell music videos on a download-to-own basis. The new service, WatchMusicHere.com, will offer music videos for viewing and permanent storage on an a-la-carte basis. CinemaNow said that pricing would range from $1.99 to $2.99. The company is using Microsoft's Windows Mobile technology and will support PCs, laptops, and Windows Mobile-protected pocket PCs and cell phones. The service required Microsoft Windows Media Player 10 for its digital rights management, and requires Windows Portable Media Center devices to operate. CinemaNow operates a broadband video-on-demand service which allows customers to download and view movies and videos.
