    CinemaNow Licenses Technology to Broadband Service


    Marina Del Rey-based CinemaNow (www.cinemanow.com) has licensed its PatchBay technology to Kabushiki Kaisha CODE, a Japanese joint venture between Transcosmos Inc. and Microsoft. CinemaNow's solution will be used to manage CODE's digital and territorial rights protection, pay-per-view and subscription services, as well as administration. CODE is focusing on marketing and wholesaling of pay-per view broadband content.
