Citrix Buys Netviewer

Santa Barbara-based Citrix Online said this morning that it is in a definitive agreement to acquired Netviewer AG, a developer of software-as-a-service tools for business collaboration. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Netviewer is based in Europe. Citrix Online said the move will help accelerate its growth in Europe. The company said Netviewer has more than 18,000 customers using its products.
