Cogi Launches API
Santa Barbara-based Cogi, which operates an online service which helps users transcribe and capture their business calls and meetings, said Tuesday that it has rolled out a public beta of an application programming interface (API), which will allow developers to integrate Cogi with CRM, sales force automation, project management, and other applications. The firm said the API will help companies add Cogi's capture and note taking capabilities into existing enterprise apps. Cogi said the it is accepting a "limited" number of licensees to the beta, and will launch to the public in the coming quarter. Cogi was founded by experienced entrepreneurs from Callwave, CrystalVoice, and Ideocore.
