Combatant Gentleman Plans First Retail Store
Los Angeles-based online men's clothing retailer Combatant Gentleman is getting set to open the company's very first, retail location, at Santa Monica Place. According to the company, the new store will be opening next week, on the second floor of Santa Monica Place, next to Nordstrom's. The startup, founded in 2012, offers up its own line of suits, shirts, outerwear, denim, accessories and shoes. The company's backers include Tony Hsieh (CEO of Zappos)--via VegasTechFund--and Brian Spaly (CEO of Trunk Club), along with MHS Capital, Naxuri Capital, Greycroft Partners, Blazer Ventures and Jake Bornstein of Flint & Tinder.
