Conexant's Decker To Retire
Newport Beach-based Conexant Systems announced today that Dwight W. Decker, the firm's CEO, plans to retire. Conexant said that Decker will retire in the fall of this year, and that the board of directors has established a search committee to select a new CEO. Decker will continue to serve as chairman of the board. Decker has headed Conexant since its spinoff from Rockwell International in 1999, except for a brief retirement in 2004.
