    Conexant Names Legal Officer
    Newport Beach-based Conexant Systems has added Mark D. Peterson as the firm's Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary. The firm said today that Peterson joins the firm from Targus Group International, and has also served at Meade Instruments and O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Peterson will be responsible for global legal affairs at the firm, reporting to President and CEO Dan Artusi. Conexant is a manufacturer of semiconductors for the communications, media processing, and other applications.
