Conexant Rolls Out PCTV Chips
Newport Beach-based Conexant Systems has rolled out a new line of chips focused on the PCTV market, the firm announced today. Conexant said its new family of broadcast audio/video (A/V) decoders are targeted at allowing consumers to watch television on their personal computers. The new chip line supports capture of both analog and digital broadcast streams through USB. Conexant said that the new CX2310X line is sampling now and will be avialable in volume in September of this year.
