San Diego-based ConfirmNet, a provider of software-as-a-service for issuing certificates of insurance, has been acquired by Atlanta-based EBIX, EBIX said Monday. According to EBIX, the deal is worth between $10M and $11M, and is made up of cash and earnout. Both ConfirmNet and EBIX serve firms like AON, Marsh, Wachovia Insurance Services, Hewitt Associates, Kroger, Centex Homes, and others.
