ContentNext Expands Team, Opens Offices In New York
Santa Monica-based online publisher ContentNext said Thursday that it has hired a new CEO and Chief Sales officer, and has opened up an office in New York. ContentNext has hired on Nathan Richardson as CEO, and Patrick Dignan as Chief Sales Officer. Richardson was most recently head of Dow Jones Online, and has also served at Yahoo Finance. Dignan was most recently at Forbes.com. The firm's founder, Rafat Ali, said that he remains Chairman of the firm and Editor and Publisher. ContentNext has also named Charlie Koones to its board. Koones was most recently president and publisher of Variety, where he left in January. Both Richardson and Dignan are based in a new, New York office.
