Covisus Collects Series A

Monrovia-based Covisus, a developer of supply chain tracking products, said this week that it has raised a Series A funding. Size of the funding was not announced. The funding came from Hale Capital Partners. The company said it has developed "covert" item-level supply chain tagging technology, which places tracking information into the "intrinsic surface texture" of the item. The company said that can be used to uniquely identify an item. Naresh Menon is CEO of Covisus.
