Creative Display Systems Acquired By Intevac
Carlsbad-based Creative Display Systems, LLC, a manufacturer of micro-display products, has been acquired. According to Santa Clara-based Intevac, it has signed a definitive asset purchase agreement for Creative. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close within the next 30 days. Creative Display Systems was creating micro-display technology, which is used for miniature displays in helmet or visor-mounted headset displays. Intevac said that Creative Display Systems will remain in Carlsbad as a division of Intevac.
