CSC Moves To Virginia
Computer Sciences Corporation, the giant El Segundo-based defense contractor, said Wednesday that the firm is relocating its corporate headquarters from El Segundo. CSC has been headquartered in Los Angeles since 1959, where it was founded. According to CSC, the company will relocate its headquarters to Falls Church, Virginia. CSC said the move would reduce travel for its executives; the firm employs approximately 11,000 of its 92,000 employees in the Washington, D.C. area. CSC did not disclose the impact on local jobs and employment here in Los Angeles. CSC provides information technology services to the government and others.
