Cyber-Rain Becomes EPA WaterSense Partner

Encino-based Cyber-Rain, the venture backed developer of Internet-connected, smart irrigation controllers, reported yesterday that it has become part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's WaterSense program. Cyber-Rain develops an irrigation controller which automatically changes watering schedules depending on weather forecasts and information. The company is venture backed by DeWaay Investment Partners, Athenian Venture Partners, Momentum Venture Management and Funk Ventures. (Editor's note: on request of Cyber-Rain and the EPA WaterSense program, we've corrected the article to indicate that Cyber-Rain has not received the WaterSense label, only that it is working with the EPA's program.)
