Cylance Brings Legal Counsel In House, Adds HR Exec

Irvine-based cybersecurity software developer Cylance said Thursday that has named two new executives. Cylance has named Brady Berg as General Counsel, and Vina Leite as Chief People Officer. Berg was previously co-chair of the Venture Capital and Emerging Companies practice group of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, P.C., and also served at Wilson Sonsini; Berg was Cylance's outside counsel and also served as outside council for Foundstone, the last company founded by Cylance's CEO, Stuart McClure. Leite was Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer at QLogic, and also had served at EMC and RSA. Cylance is developing software which uses artificial intelligence to help stem malware and other cybersecurity attacks.
