D-Link, Napster Partner On Music Streaming

Los Angeles-based Napster (www.napster.com) and Fountain Valley-based D-Link (www.d-link.com) said this morning that the two companies are partnering to bundle access to the Napster Network with D-Link's MediaLounge Wireless Media Player. A free trial of the Napster downloadable music and radio streaming services will be available with the D-Link hardware. D-Link's MediaLounge hardware allows consumers to access digital media on a home network, including music, video, or photos. The device connects to a television and through a wireless network to the Internet or a home PC. Napster offers legal downloadable music and competes with Apple's iTunes and others for providing music downloads.
