City of Industry-based D-Tech Optoelectronics, a firm which manufactures components for the optical communications market, said Wednesday that it has acquired the telecom assembly line assets of Taiwanese firm Infomax. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. D-Tech said it will use the new plant to augment its design facility and manufacturing plant in California. D-tech said the assets will become a new Taiwanese company called D-Tech Optoelectronics (Taiwan) Corporation.
