    DATAllegro Raises $22.5M


    Aliso Viejo-based DATAllegro said this morning that is has closed a $22.5M Series C funding round. The new round of funding was led by JAFCO Ventures, and included Focus Ventures, Adams Capital Management, Intel Capital, Palomar Ventures, and Venrock Associates. DATAllegro develops data warehouse appliances targeted at business intelligence and other uses. DATAllegro also said that it has promoted Mark Theissen from VP Professional Services to COO, and Andy Mouacdie from Western Regional Sales Director to VP Sales. The new round of funding brings the company's total raised to $43.5M.
