    DATAllegro Releases New Data Warehouse Appliance


    Aliso Viejo-based DATAllegro said today that it has launched a new data warehouse appliance, targeted at online archiving. The firm said that the new appliance is designed to hold petabytes of historical data online in a small data center footprint. DATAllegro's products are used by companies for data warehousing and analysis; the new product used Dell servers, EMC storage, and Cisco switches along with the firm's data warehousing software. DATAllegro is venture backed by JAFCO Ventures, Focus Ventures, Adams Capital Management, Intel Capital, Palomar Ventures, and Venrock Associates.
