Santa Monica-based Demand Media announced today that it is powering a new Travel Channel for newspaper the Arizona Republic. According to Demand, it is launching the new brand on AZCentral.com, the online site for the Arizona Republic. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Demand Media said the channel is the fourth time it has worked with Gannett, and is the third collaboration it has created with AZCentral.com. Demand Media said it will have more than 25 content channels live by the end of the calendar year, where it will provide everything form automotive advice to investment tips to users.
