DevZuz Names Former WebLogic Exec As CEO

Marina Del Rey-based DevZuz, the open source software provider started by Gluecode Software's Winston Damarillo, said this morning that it has appointed the former president of WebLogic, Dave Parker, as CEO. Parker was the original president of WebLogic before it was acquired by BEA Systems. The company also said it has hired Tom Brattvet, formerly of Serena Softare, Borland, and Starbase, as VP of Sales for the firm. DevZuz is developing open source development tools for managing software projects and is backed by Mission Ventures and Redpoint Ventures.
