Digital Evolution Acquires Flamenco Networks
Santa Monica-based Digital Evolution said this morning that it is acquiring Atlanta-based Flamenco Networks, a company offering technology for service-oriented Web Services deployment. Flamenco's technology allows companies to enforce enterprise security policies for the SOAP communications protocol, including hosted and managed network services. The company is focused on providing the specialized network infrastructure required for Web Services deployment. Digital Evolution provides Web Services security and management software, and will integrate the technology from the two companies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
