    Digital Power Companies Launch Site


    A group of digital power companies, including Atmel, C&D Technologies, and Camarillo-based Power-One have launched a new web site and group around digital power technology. The new group, Z-Alliance, has launched z-alliance.org to promote the companies interoperable digital-power products. The group is collaborating on integrated power conversion and management products, and says that it is a collaborative effort to educate and advance the use of digital power systems. The group is also working on industry standards.
