Diodes Finalizes Anachip Acquisition Agreement
Westlake Village-based Diodes Tuesday said that it has finalized its agreement to acquire Taiwanese firm Anachip, a analog IC company. Diodes had announced earlier this month that it was in preliminary discussions with Anachip to acquire the firm. The final price was approximately $30M (NT$20 per share) in cash. Anachip is a developer of power management ICs used in LCD monitors, wireless access points, communications devices, and other electronics. Diodes said that it expects the revenue this year from Anachip to be approximately $35M.
