    DivX Ships In Media Player

San Diego-based DivX has scored another win with its DivX video decompression technology, this time with NH Japan. NH Japan's MPM-200 portable media player series will include the ability to decode DivX video streams. The media players include a 3.5 inch LCD screen, S-Video, and coax outputs with the ability to record TV content directly to the devices. DivX has been licensing its technology to manufacturers, hoping to make its video format the standard for video compression/decompression.
