Docstoc Hires Two Execs
Santa Monica-based business document sharing site Docstoc.com has made two executives hires, saying Wednesday that it has hired Robyn Ward as Vice President of Business Development, and Serena Ehrlich as Director of Marketing. Ward was most recently VP of Operations and Strategy at Verified Person; Ehrlich was most recently in sales, marketing, and management at Business Wire. According to Docstoc, Ward will focus on growing product distribution, key partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities; Ehrlich will be reponsible for growing user generated content and related revenue opportunities. Docstoc CEO Jason Nazar said the hires come as the firm has just broken its 1,000,000 public document mark. Docstoc is venture backed by Rustic Canyon Ventures.
