    DoctorsDirect.com Signs Santa Monica Physicians
    Santa Monica-based DoctorsDirect.com, a venture-backed startup looking to make it easier to book doctor's appointments, said Tuesday that it has signed on a new doctor's group. The firm said that Santa Monica Bay Physicians' Playa/Marina Urgent Care Center will use its services to allow the public to book flu shot appointments. DoctorsDirect.com is backed by Spark Capital, and headed by former MapQuest head Tommy McGloin.
