DogVacay Looks To Staff Up
Los Angeles-based online dog sitting marketplace DogVacay appears to be in growth mode, based on a recent notice the company sent out to its blog. According to DogVacay--which already has more than 50 employees--it is hiring customer service representatives for the startup, looking for technologically proficient dog lovers to help with its customer service team. DogVacay operates an online marketplace which helps connects dog owners with vetted dog sitters, offering up reviews of those sitters, tools to keep owners connected with their pets, and more. DogVacay is venture backed by Foundation Capital, Benchmark, First Round Capital, DAG Ventures and Sherpa Ventures. The company is one of the companies which has come out of Science, Inc., the business studio and incubator run by former MySpace CEO Mike Jones.
