Domain Associates Raises $163.6M In New Fund

San Diego-based life sciences investor Domain Associates has raised $163.6M in a new fund, Domain Partners IX, LP, according to a regulatory filing by the firm last week. According to the filing, the fund now stands at $163.6M, and includes six limited partners. Fundraising for the new fund first began in December of 2014, according to the filing. The new fund is being managed by Jim Blair, Brian Dovey, Brian Halak, Nicole Vitullo, and Kim Kamdar.
