Donuts Names New CFO

Donuts Inc., the domain name registration firm targeting the new global top level domain (gTLD) market which has major operations in Los Angeles, has appointed a new CFO, the company said Tuesday. The firm announced that it has named Jeff deCillia as its Chief Financial Officer, located in the company's Bellevue, Washington office. Kevin Wilson, the company's former CFO, has become VP of Finance. deCillia was most recently CFO of INRIX, and also served as CFO of PivotLink, Captaris (acquired by OpenText), and Cartia (acquired by Amazon).

Donuts is the well funded startup founded by Demand Media alumni, which handles domain name registration and management for the new crop of global top level domains which are being issued by ICANN. The company has raised more than $100M to acquire and handle registration for the new gTLDs, from such investors as Austin Ventures, Adams Street Partners, Emergence Capital Partners, TOL Ventures, Generation Partners, and Stahurricane.
