DoorDash, Carl's Jr. Team For Fast Food Delivery In SoCal

Have a craving for a burger from Carl's Jr.? In what might be the first, on-demand delivery service to cater to fast food fans, on-demand delivery service DoorDash and CKE Restaurant Holdings have teamed up on deliveries from Carl's Jr in Southern California. According to the two, DoorDash will deliver burgers, fries, sandwiches, shakes, and other menu items from Carl's Jr. in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County, with plans to expand to Hardee's and Carl's Jr. restaurants in the rest of the country in the coming months. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. CKE Restaurant Holdings is the parent company of Carl's Jr. and Hardees. Customers can order their fast food using either an Android or iOS app, or online; delivery normally costs $3.99, but the two said they will waive delivery fees during a promotional period.
