DriveCam Deploys At Waste Management

San Diego-based DriveCam, the developer of driver monitoring technology used to manage driving fleets, reports today that waste hauler Waste Management, Inc. plans to deploy the company's products across its entire fleet. Financial impact of the deal were not disclosed. DriveCam said the 5-year service contract comes after a successful, 6-month pilot in two of Waste Management's markets. DriveCam's systems use both video and other data collection to monitor fleet drivers and behavior, helping with driver safety issues and fuel efficiency.
