DriveCam Signs Insurance and Risk Management Provider
San Diego-based DriveCam announced today that it has signed on McNeil and Company, a provider of insurance programs and risk management services to offer discounts to Ambulance Services Insurance Program clients using DriveCam. DriveCam's system monitors video and audio of risky driving, and is being used by commercial fleets to reduce the frequency and severity of automobile accidents. McNeil's program will focus on preventing ambulance crashes, and to help resolve claims from accidents. DriveCam is backed by Chopra Ventures, JMI Equity, Menlo Venturse, and the Tech Coast Angels.
