DTS Acquires Arctic Palm

Calabasas-based audio technology developer DTS said Thursday that it has acquired Arctic Palm Technology, a developer of broadcast radio technology. Financial terms of the acquisition deal were not announced. Arctic Palm wa founded in 1997, and is based in London, Ontario, Canada. The company has more than 2,700 stations as customers, according to DTS, including NPR, Entercom, Townsquare, Saga, Cumulus, Bell Media, CBC and Corus. DTS is led by Jon Kirchner. Arctic Palm was founded and is led by CEO Stu Buck.
