Calabasas-based DTS, the developer of surround sound and audio technology, reported today that it has partnered with Digital Rapids, a provider of hardware and software for encoding and transcoding video and audio. According to DTS, Digital Rapids will incorporate the DTS and DTS-HD audio format into future versions of its products for high volume transcoding and studio encoding. Financial details of the partnership were not announced.
