Calabasas-based audio enhancement technology developer DTS said this morning that a trio of audio brands--McIntosh, Sonus Faber, and Wadia--have begun to use the company's Play-Fi wireless, whole home audio technology. DTS said the move comes thanks to a deal with audio systems and speaker developer Fine Sounds Group. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Play-Fi is the whole home, audio technology that DTS is licensing to other companies, offering up multi-zone coordination from devices, mobile apps, ability to connect over standard WiFi and Ethernet, and more. The two said that the three audio brands will roll out products with Play-Fi support later this year.
