E&Y Names Los Angeles Entrepreneur Awards Winners
Ernst & Young has named its latest winners for its Ernst & Young
Entrepreneur of the Year award in Los Angeles last night in Beverly Hills. The firm, which selects entrepreneurs based on their success, innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to businesses and communities, named six individuals in the awards. Among the winners from the high tech industry here were David Lord of RazorGator; Ming Hsieh, of Cogent Services; and Brad Jones, Managing Director of Redpoint, who was recognized as a Supporter of Entrepreneurship. The winners were selected by an independent panel of judges. The winners of the national Entrepreneur of Year
award will be announced in Palm Springs in November. E&Y also named its San Diego winners last week, including Kleanthis G. Xanthopoulos of Anadys Pharmaceuticals, Peter Ulrich of TargeGen, and Bruce Moeller of DriveCam.
