    eBay Launches GigaMoves

eBay's Rent.com subsidiary has launched a new company, GigaMoves, to target the online lead generation market for moving companies. The new company is an online lead-generation service that connects customers with moving companies, as well as providing account management, pay-per-lead pricing, and tracking of leads. The move comes a day after competitor Homestore renamed itself to Move, Inc. and said that it will focus in on the same, moving lead market. GigaMoves said that it has 100 major moving and storage firms signed up for the company's services. Rent.com said that helping renter, homeowners, and relocating businesses find movers was a natural extension of its business.
