EcoMom Acquired By GreenCupboards, Will Be Relaunched

Ecomom, the onetime Los Angeles green products e-retailer, which had been led by entrepreneur Jody Sherman until his untimely death earlier this year, has been acquired by fellow green products e-retailer GreenCupboards. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. According to GreenCupboards, it has acquired all of the assets of EcoMom, including its trademarks, domain names, social media, customer lists and inventory. As part of the acquisition, GreenCupboards said it will rename itself etailz, Inc. GreenCupboards said it will relaunch EcoMom in early summer of 2013.
