EDF Renewable Services, 3M In Wind Turbine Deal

San Diego-based EDF Renewable Services, a provider of third-party renewable operations and maintenance services for the energy industry, has joined with 3M, in a deal to install wind turbine enhancements in the U.S. The two said that EDF Renewable Services will install 3M's Wind Vortex Generators on wind turbines in the collaboration. 3M's wind vortex generators are small attachments installed on wind turbine blades, which improve a turbine's performance, loads, and service life. Financial details of the deal were not announced.
