Santa Monica-based EdgeCast Networks, which operates a content delivery network (CDN), said Thursday that it has added support for full HTTP streaming for Apple iOS 4 devices, such as the Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The firm said it supports both on-demand and live streaming of video to those devices, including support for intelligent dynamic streaming, which adjusts for connection speeds.
