EdgeCast Partners With Castfire
Los Angeles-based EdgeCast Networks, which operates a rich media content delivery network (CDN), said earlier this week that it has partnered with Castfire, which develops tools for editing and managing multimedia. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to EdgeCast, the partnership will allow its customers to edit content, integrate RSS functionality, add advertising, export their content to different devices and format, as well as distribute their content.
